This hour-long tour at Château La Garde offers an enlightening insight into the essentials of a working wine estate.
The tour includes a mini-history of the estate, followed by a fully immersive tour of the vineyard, and a behind-the-scenes visit to our cutting-edge winery, where he secrets of winemaking are revealed.
And to complete your visit, a wine tasting experience of two of the estate’s wines accompanied by exceptional sweeping scenic views.

Château La Garde has joined forces with La Bulle Verte to offer personalised wine tour experiences with the emphasis on nature’s bounty.
The tour has been devised to uncover the estate’s lush, verdant haven of nature, taking in its spring, pond and forest via the all-important gravel plateau.
Throughout the 1.5km circuit, guests are encouraged to wander at will, guided by their trusted smartphone, for an insight into a wealth of biodiversity at eleven key sites identified by the Bird Protection League (LPO), a French NGO devoted to protecting bird species and their habitats.
A wonderful stroll through the vines culminating in a tasting of three of the chateaux’s wines.

A tasting of six limited edition wines from the Mosaic range, provides insight into the different effects of soil type on Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties, and also illustrates the endless possibilities available to the winemaker when assembling the chateau blends.

After experiencing the delights of Château La Garde and the secrets of how fine wines are made, the tasting workshop is an in-depth initiation to the Bordeaux vineyards. Fun and educational, the tasting experience will train your senses to recognise the typical flavours and aromas of the region’s wines.
After tasting 4 wines from the region’s most iconic wine appellations, you will have an insight into the typical character of the left and right bank Bordeaux appellations, and the diversity of terroirs:
